About Worton and Marston

Worton and Marston are two small villages located about 4 miles south west of the town of Devizes in Wiltshire on the northern edge of Salisbury Plain.  Worton, the larger of the two, has a good family-run pub - The Rose & Crown, Christ Church, Five Lanes School and the Old Forge Garage.  Marston is a smaller, mainly residential, village linked to Worton by a footpath located at the bottom of Church Lane (the lane on which the Village Hall is situated).

There are a number of pleasant walks around the two villages and local attractions including the Mill Farm Trout Lakes.
